That’s where Blended comes in. Blended, is a Podcast Co-Hosted by Sierra, owner of Siroki Lash Studio LLC, and Destiny, owner of Destiny.Works an extension exclusive private salon. My co-host and I came together to give beauty industry entrepreneurs a fresh perspective on how to build their businesses while staying true to themselves. The episodes offer an inspiring look into our own journeys, and vulnerable moments, with deep stories, and touches on practical advice and tips.

The Tell All Origin Story of Us!

When we first started out on our respective paths, we had no idea that one day we would be partnering up for a podcast series about entrepreneurship in the beauty industry.

Destiny and I are both successful six-figure beauty professionals located in Jacksonville Florida. Destiny is a hair stylist specializing in Hand Tied hair extensions. I work as a professional makeup artist specializing in weddings, television, and events. I also founded Siroki Lash, a lash brand found online. We also have a private Lash Studio/storefront located in the historic Riverside area of Jacksonville. Which is where I work as a lash artist specializing in wispy lash extensions.

Two years ago we had a dream to team up, and decided to start our partnership now through a podcast– something neither one of us has done before! We hope that by “blending” two different areas of expertise, we will be able to create something truly special and unique for beauty professionals like you! And so, Blended the Podcast was born!

Achieving Beauty Business Career Goals

Destiny is no stranger to the beauty industry. She’s been involved in the business since she was a teenager. After building her own company from scratch, Destiny began working as a consultant for other beauty brands as well as teaching classes on entrepreneurship. Her story is one of sheer determination and resilience. Despite numerous setbacks, Destiny never gave up on her dreams of success in the beauty industry.

I personally have been called a powerful force within the beauty world. As a makeup artist, lash artist, and entrepreneur, I have been able to develop my own unique style that has attracted high-profile clients leading me to work on amazing projects with The Emmys, ESPN, Fashion Week, Too Faced Cosmetics, Giorgio Armani, YSL, and more!

I graduated with honors with my bachelor's in business back in 2020. My goal is to provide others with invaluable advice on how I was able to reach such heights early in my career without sacrificing my own values or goals while utilizing my education and personal experience in the beauty industry for long-term growth.

The Blended Mission

With each episode of Blended, Destiny and I are determined to work hard to create a safe space for everyone in the beauty business community. Our mission is to provide support and inspiration for any entrepreneur looking to reach their goals.

We use our own experiences as successful female entrepreneurs to share invaluable insights that are often overlooked in traditional education settings.

We aspire to bring a unique approach to the podcast by keeping it real with honest conversations about mistakes we have made along the way. (Trust us, there were so many)

In addition, we aim to connect listeners with other successful professionals in the industry who can offer advice from different perspectives. With each guest interview, you will gain insight into how those working in the beauty business are succeeding today while staying true to themselves.
