BEFORE BOOKING
Does it hurt?

Lash extensions should never hurt. In fact, they are ultimately weightless. If you ever experience discomfort with your extensions you may be having an allergic reaction and we urge you to contact us immediately to solve any and all concerns.
How long do they last?

Your lash extensions will remain full for up to 3 weeks if you get a full set. If you have an express set we recommend fills at 1-2 weeks. However, lash extensions grow out with your natural lashes so the amount of time they last is determined by your natural hair growth patterns. As your natural lashes fall out the extensions will along with them.
Can I wear lash extensions with contacts?

Yes, once the lashes have been applied, you can wear your contact lenses again. We recommend bringing your glasses to your appointment to ensure you do not wet the lashes after your appointment. We can only guarantee the extensions to last if you do not get them wet for 24 - 48 hours after the original application. If you notice any irritation when wearing the contact lenses, we recommend getting them professionally removed as they may not be the best option for you.
Can I wear mascara with my extensions?

NO, Lashes are intended to replace the need to use mascara. With extensions, your lashes will look fuller, darker and longer. If you find after your appointment you want to apply mascara you may just need to request fuller, darker, or longer lashes at the next appointment.
We recommend avoiding mascara altogether as this will add weight, and create product build up on the lashes and put you at a higher risk of them falling out.
If you still decide to wear mascara, make sure you use oil-free makeup remover & be gentle, otherwise it may cause lashes to fall out and or pull out your natural lashes prematurely. Do not use any oil-based products around your lashes, as this may break down the adhesive that keeps the lashes intact.
Avoid waterproof mascara and liner completely as this can ruin your lash extensions and will be very hard to get off, resulting in lash loss.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Can I wear makeup when I come to the lash appointment?
No, please arrive with your face and lashes clean of any excess lash glue, makeup, mascara, or eyeliner. This ensures a better application process. Please note a short lash bath is included for previously cleansed lashes. However, if there is excessive makeup on the lashes and eye region there will be an additional charge of $15 - $30 for removal depending on time taken to cleanse.
IF MAKEUP IS TOO BUILT UP WE MAY REQUIRE YOU TO REMOVE MAKEUP YOURSELF. PLEASE NOTE THIS WILL CUT INTO YOUR APPOINTMENT SLOT. IF MAKEUP IS RESISTANT TO REMOVAL YOU WILL HAVE TO RESCHEDULE.

Can I wear contact lenses during my lash appointment?
No, Contact lenses must be taken out prior to appointment. Please be sure to bring contact lens case and solution if necessary. Glasses are always nice to have with you after your appointment. To avoid adding solution to the lashes after application.

Can I drink coffee before or during my lash appointment?
NO, Please avoid caffeine before your appointment. As it may cause the eyes to flutter & increase watering. Thus, effecting the lash application. Beauty rest is encouraged!
Can I eat during my lash appointment?
NO, please make sure you eat before the appointment time if possible. You will be in the chair for a while.

Can I talk on the phone or text during my lash appointment?

AFTER CARE

Lash Extensions

-
Avoid picking & rubbing the lashes and eye – Picking & rubbing at your eyelashes may weaken them and even make them fall out. This will result in bald patches along your lash line, lost retention, and a fill will be necessary to restore them.
-
Brush your eyelashes every morning and night – Use a clean spoolie brush to brush through your lashes. This will keep them in order and looking neat. It can also break down any pollen or dust on the lashes which can lead to infection.
-
Try to sleep without putting pressure on the lashes as your eyelashes are more susceptible to bending or misshaping if you sleep on your front or your side.
-
Avoid using products with oil it will decrease retention of your lashes
-
Avoid using products with glycol it will decrease retention of your lashes
-
Avoid waterproof mascara and liners
-
Dry your lashes after the shower if you can. We recommend using your blowdryer on low heat and low speed and drying the lashes upwards. If you do not own a blowdryer make sure you brush them after every shower. We recommend getting a small lash fan available at the studio for purchase.
-
Avoid steam rooms, working out, putting your face over boiling pots of water, tanning beds, facials, high heat, and saunas for at least 48 hours – Moisture should be avoided in the first 24 hours as it won’t allow the adhesive to dry fully. Places such as steam rooms, tanning beds and saunas can bring on sweat which may loosen the lashes. With that said, vigorous exercise should be avoided before the lashes have dried. We also recommend being mindful when using the oven & blow dryer as high levels of heat can melt the lashes.
